It is about two and a half years since I took over as the Vice Chancellor of this University. The Syndicate that was in place when I took over demitted Office in March 2010.  As the election to the Syndicate was inordinately delayed due to much litigation, from March 2010 until now, I had to exercise the powers of the Syndicate to run the University.
