Entrepreneurship  Development Cell was established during the year 2007  to initiate an enthusiasm among the  students of the Kerala University towards entrepreneurship,  strongly inculcating entrepreneurial culture among them in the era of Globalization, Liberalization and Privatization India calls  for creating an entrepreneurial culture and attitude among the students to become employment provider rather than employment seekers Such a transformation it is hoped would reap immense benefits to the society. With this objective, the Department of Science and Technology Government of India has set up the ED Cell attached to the Kerala University.
