Departments and centers
There are 41 Teaching Departments and around 30 centres under the University. These Teaching Departments offer Post Graduate courses like MA, MSc, MCJ, MCA, MBA etc and also M.Phil and Ph.D. Academic Research is one of the main activities of most of the teaching departments and centres. Majority of the departments are located in the Karyavattom campus of the University and the rest of them are in the Thiruvananthapuram city.
