Minimum educational requirement for admission will be a pass in plus 2/ predegree/12th std or its equivalent from any Board or University in India or abroad recognized as equivalent for admission to a degree course in the University of Kerala. The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology. For SC/ST and persons with disabilities the minimum requirement for admission shall be a pass. Age must be between 17—25 years on the last day set for receiving the applications. The upper age limit is relaxable by two years in case of SC/ST and physically handicapped candidates. The upper age limit is also relaxable on approval by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI )
