Nomination of Indian Scholars to South- Asia Institute, Heidelberg Germany for the year 2012 - Inviting applications PDF Print E-mail

 The UGC has invited applications from the teachers of the discipline of Economics, Anthropology, Geography, History, Ideology, Political Science, and South- Asian Studies for an annual award of either one six -month scholarship or two three - month scholarship to work at the South Asia Institute in Heidelberg. The selected scholar would be provided to and fro air fare as well as allowances to cover board, lodging, incidentals and local transport by the German side during his/ her visit to Germany as per provisions of Indo-German CEP. The college is required to give an undertaking that the college agrees to provide to the teacher, full salary and allowances for the duration of his/her visit and would treat him/her as ‘On Duty’ without any contribution from UGC towards the salary of the teacher. This offer will be applicable to those faculty employed at colleges approved under section 2(f) & 12 (B) of UGC Act. The programme will commence in 2012. The applications may be sent along with bio-data and plan of work in triplicate in the prescribed proforma, which can be downloaded from the University website. The applications are to reach this office on or before 07.02.2012.

F.No.4/3/2012-Edn (AW)/73, dated 10.01.2012, received from the Director of Education Union Territory of Lakshadweep, Kavaratti.

 

 

 

 

            All Arts & Science College affiliated to the University of Kerala are directed to strictly adhere to the following regulations laid down in the Hand Book for Admissions regarding Reservation of Seats for Students from the Union Territory of Lakshadweep.

 

“An additional seat shall be created for each graduate and Post graduate  Degree Course (Only wherever necessary) in all Government/Affiliated Colleges exclusively for the purpose of accommodating students sponsored by the  Union Territory of Lakshadweep.  This seat shall not be filled up by other candidates.  The list of such candidates admitted should be forwarded separately to the University, immediately after admissions. NOTIFICATION

 

            Sub:- Inter-Collegiate transfer of P.G. Semester  Courses 2011-2012 admission -                       reg.

 

            Applications in the prescribed form are invited from regular students of PG Degree Program 2011-12 under Merit and Management quota in Govt./Aided and Self-financing Colleges affiliated to this University for Inter-Collegiate transfer of II semester  PG Degree course.    Transfer will be effected only between the institutions of identical category and fee structure within the University of Kerala.  The Subject/Branch in both the Colleges shall be under the same Scheme and Syllabus.

 

            The applications duly filled in should reach the Office of the Registrar, University of Kerala on or before 08.02.2012.  Both the Principals of the Colleges where the student is at present studying and the student intends to be transferred to should attest the applications and forward it to the Registrar, University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 034 and remit Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred only) towards the fee for processing the application and if selected a fee of Rs.400/- (Rupees Four hundred only) shall be remitted afterwards (in case of D/D add Rs.10/- extra).  The fee shall be paid to the KUF through University Cash Counter/Friends (Janaseva Kendram) or by DD drawn in favour of Finance Officer, University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 034. (DD may be drawn on SBT/SBI/District Co-operative Bank payable at Service Branch, Thiruvananthapuram)

 

            Application not recommended and forwarded by both the Principals will not be entertained.  An attested copy of the Mark List of the Qualifying Examination for admission to the P.G. Semester Course should be submitted alongwith the application. 

 

           

            Late, incomplete and defective applications will be summarily rejected without any further notice.
